You will be managing a small team and will work with key stakeholders across the business providing financial information and support to the business.
As well as the requisite monthly accounts, board reports, balance sheet recs, ledger accounts, year-end accounts etc. you will focus on forward planning and working with the commercial and operational teams on forecasting and budgeting to help the group plan for the future.
A good working knowledge of IT and ERP systems is going to help you improve systems and efficiencies.
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of working in manufacturing / FMCG and you need to be happy working in a busy, changing and challenging environment.
If you are currently in practice or have trained in practice with the right skills and character, then this would offer you a route into industry.
