Qualified Financial Accountant required for a leading insurance business based in Stoke on Trent.
Your new role
You will assist the Head of Finance and Management Accountant with year-end reporting, monthly group reporting and accounting for new projects and business purchases. You will also be responsible for maintaining management accounts of smaller holding companies within sub-group. You will assist with group reporting - from sister company and reporting to main group office combined figures. You will also be setting up accounting systems for new projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with excellent Excel skills (as would be expected at this level). Must have communication skills to investigate issues, and able to work a problem to find possible solutions. Also would be helpful if the successful candidate had knowledge of insurance broker business and experience of reporting up to group from subsidiary companies. Staff management experience would also be a plus.
