We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) in Milton Keynes, working as a Financial Accountant.
About the Role
This role offers a great opportunity to be involved in driving improvements and ensuring the delivery of financial best practice across the business. In this role you’ll be responsible for managing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations within the UK, Middle East and Europe Legal Entities, you’ll support the intercompany process, business improvement projects, month and year end process, fixed asset accounting and ensure all tax, legal and statutory obligations are followed including the analysis of VAT returns.
Organization skills and excellent accuracy are at the heart of this role as you’ll be required to ensure all data and information is valid and correct. In addition communication skills are a must as you’ll be working closely with the FSSC team and other teams to provide support and guidance on finance processes. You’ll also be proactively liaising with all our different departments ensuring that processes are operating effectively, as well as the businesses across the different UK entities and European offices.
To be successful in this role you’ll have a proven record of improving controls and processes, including identifying and implementing control improvements. You will also be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified professional, with strong technical accounting expertise.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas across the business so you’ll be highly organized and detail conscious, be able to work at a fast pace and have a proactive "can do" attitude. Good IT skills are essential.
