Finance Team Leader position working for the Headquarters of this UK wide retail organisation in Cardiff.
We have a very good relationship with the client and they have come to us to help them recruit for a Finance team Leader. This is replacing someone that has left the business. The client specialise in retail and have a a very good reputation cross the UK with a strong presence in Cardiff. |They have a multi-million T/O while being established in the market for over 40 years.
Weekly reporting of cash actuals
Preparation of weekly and monthly cash forecasts
Variance analysis of actual cash against forecast
Weekly and monthly completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Ensure Revenue Control Teams' Balance Sheet Reconciliations are completed and variances investigated.
Development and preparation of variance and investigation reports to Management and Retail team.
Supervisor for Revenue Control Team who are the first point of contact for stores and Loss Prevention Team
Assessment and Improvement of processes around stores banking procedures
Representation of Finance Department on projects relating to store banking procedures and compliance.
General daily, weekly and month end Revenue Control tasks
Ad hoc tasks as required
Assist with Budget process
The successful candidate will be someone that has managed teams previously. Experience in the retail sector is not essential but will help your application. knowledge of month end Accounting processes is essential.
