Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Team Assistant position for a large UK Wholesaler in north-east Nottinghamshire area.
Your new role
In your new role as Finance Team Assistant you will be responsible for accurately processing of purchase ledger invoices and bank reconciliations. You will need to ensure invoices are matched correctly to supplier delivery notes and prices are checked, reconciling correct monies from the stores. You will be working in a team of 5 Finance Team Assistants reporting to the Finance Team Supervisor.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable experience or Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable experience (minimum of 1 years' experience). You will need to be highly organised and have a methodical approach with excellent communication skills. You will enjoy working as part of a team and be a team player. You will need to have experience of accounting software and Microsoft office packages.
