Reporting into the Systems Manager, the key responsibilities of the role are:
*Act as the first point of contact for all finance system queries from staff within the organisation.
*Take responsibility for the up to date documentation of systems manuals and procedures relating to the running of the system.
*Deal with issues as they arise promptly and efficiently, in order to support the smooth day to day running of operations.
*Advise and support inexperienced users of the system in a professional and effective way.
*Deal closely with financial data in the back-end system to ensure accuracy.
*Provide training to staff members on proper use of the system.
You will have an expressed interest in complex systems, as well as be skilled at analysing and manipulating back-end data. Experience of working in a finance team is essential due to the nature of the queries. Your Excel skills will be advanced, and experience of OpenAccounts will be beneficial. You will have a technical attitude. The role will involve helping members of staff who are not technically minded, so an ability to patiently describe proper use of the system will be needed.
