A highly attractive role for a systems savvy Finance professional has arisen with a reputable Insurance business based in London. The Finance Systems & MI Manager takes ownership of the maintenance, development, control, and operation of the finance systems infrastructure. At present this includes MI (finance and investment reporting), general ledger system, and the budgeting and planning tool.
As Finance Systems and MI Manager, you will be an advocate of technology and work across the department to enhance and encourage systems expertise and process automation.
You will act as the link between IT and Finance, working alongside the Finance Programme Manager to deliver Finance Change, including but not limited to projects such as IFRS17, servicing the overall Finance department.
To be considered for this position you should possess/demonstrate the following:
- Educated to a good standard in relevant topics
- Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant, but this is not 100% essential
- IT savvy with sound understanding of Management Accounting and related processes
- Knowledge of the Lloyd’s insurance market
