Harris Hill are recruiting for a Finance Manager for this international development charity based in London working on programmes with French Speaking Countries..
You will report directly to the Director of Finance, providing accounting support to Country Finance staff across the world.
The position will be split into 4 areas:
Management Accounting reviewing rolling forecasts across country offices to ensure monthly management accounts are produced and reviewed and that variances are acted on.
Financial Accounting and Regulatory, providing advice, training and support to the finance team in other country offices.
Technical Line Management of Indirect Reports, providing technical line management to Country Finance Managers, enabling the role holder to learn and develop, and enabling them to be a strong support to the country teams.
Business Development budget support, providing Support to the HQ-based Business Development teams compiling and reviewing budgets for new projects where required.
You will be a Qualified ACA or CIMA Accountant with a couple of years' experience of working in a financial management role. This would be ideal, but not essential. As is experience of working abroad or in a multi-country reporting environment.
Good basic business French is required. You do not have to be fluent.
