Joining them as a Finance Officer, you will maximise the performance of the Transactional Processing Team through the provision of expert advice and support to the Operational Directors and the Operational Managers regarding current and future Transactional Processing matters.

Optimising the functionality within the finance system to ensure all of the Group's transaction related processes are fully automated, you must establish processes and procedures which ensure creditor invoices are processed for payment efficiently and effectively and complete supplier statement reconciliations on a regular basis as appropriate, resolving any queries in the process.

Establishing processes and procedures which ensure sundry debtor requests are raised and monies collected as per the Group’s Debt Recovery Procedure, you will process sundry payment requests and issue payment as appropriate and prepare information for internal/external audit as per audit schedules.

Studying for a recognised accountancy qualification e.g. AAT or similar, you must have experience of an accounts environment and of cash book and ledger posting; experience of nominal ledger reconciliations would be beneficial.

With excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas, issues and concepts successfully at all levels to a variety of audiences, candidates should be able to prioritise their workload effectively and demonstrate good interpersonal and team working skills coupled with a proven ability to form strong partnerships.

Fixed Term Contract - 18 months
