Finance Officer / Accounts Assistant / Social Housing
£22,684 per annum plus a generous benefits package
Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)
Our client is a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. They manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and their residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support.
They are looking to recruit a self-motivated Finance Officer to join their Rent & Service Charges team based at their Head Office in Chester. They are looking for somebody who has good organisational skills, is able to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met and has excellent attention to detail. You will have a can-do attitude and be able to work as part of a team.
The successful candidate will help to ensure the accurate and timely processing of service charges for leaseholders and shared owners and assist in preparing management accounts to monitor the cost of services. The role will provide support and cover to other members of the Finance team as required.
The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of A-Level (ideally AAT) or have relevant experience in a similar role. This would suit someone with a good knowledge of Financial Accounting Systems. A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role, as is the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a wide range of audiences, including leaseholders.
