Sou can imagine how much data that accumulates! Our UK Analytics team provide a combination of data and insights. You will directly help business leadership with your forecasts and enable them to make effective data driven decisions. You'll use your SQL skills to interrogate and analyse the raw data and you'll own the reporting for our bespoke forecasting tool. You will improve, maintain and rebuild complex models to forecast revenues, costs and key KPIs.

How will you add value?

You will drive the output of the team, whilst supporting the Head of Analytics and continuously improving the quality of the analytics produced. Your work will directly contribute towards Worldpay's achievement of EBITDA targets.
Furthermore you'll troubleshoot unusual trends in the forecasting tool and provide insightful commercial explanations behind movements and recommend areas for deeper exploration.
You'll collaborate with the Financial and Commercial Business Partnering teams and ensure that the relevant reports are produced to an appropriate level of regularity and always to the highest level of accuracy. You will critically evaluate the value of the outputs removing redundant reporting to focus on the impactful reporting and analysis. You will monitor and maintain the bespoke forecasting tool ensuring that colleagues are suitably equipped mentally and technically to deliver the data necessary to evaluate the insights. You will produce non-technical reports for non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner delivering these as presentations and responding to queries/challenges.

What will make me right for the role?

You have a strong analytical background with experience in modelling and SQL (with a capability of reading and writing code) to interrogate large data sets. We are looking for a confident communicator with an ability to take large complex data and summarise key trends and themes in simple non-technical terms. Your time and project management capabilities will enable to junior Analysts to keep on track for presentation deadlines and ensure they are a success. A commercial appreciation with an ability to adapt to constant changes in KPIs, forecasts and strategy to help drive correct decision making.
