Your day at Aqua:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, food cost analysis, and statutory submissions
- Support month-end closure in collaboration with stakeholders
- Produce and analyse daily/monthly sales reports and investigate variances
- Maintain customer accounts, credit control, and deposit accounting
- Monitor and reconcile cash/card receipts and bank transactions
- Manage intercompany invoicing and account reconciliations
- Lead a small finance team (2 part-qualified accountants + Accounts Payable)
- Liaise with auditors and support budget, forecast, and audit processes
- Assist in VAT returns, statutory submissions, and internal controls
- Deliver financial training to operational staff
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and cover for AP as needed
What we are looking for:
- Experience using Sage Line 50 (preferred not essential)
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data
- Experience in the hospitality industry (preferred but not essential)
- Multi-site accounting experience
- Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, organised, and a quick learner
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, can-do attitude
- A team player with excellent communication skills
