Finance Manager
Robert Half has partnered with a FTSE 250 business based in Telford to recruit a Finance Manager. This position will support the finance and contract operations teams, presenting a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking growth and involvement in exciting projects. While this role does not involve direct people management, it will require business partnering with various stakeholders. For the right candidate, this role offers:
Salary of up to £65,000 + hybrid working (2-3 days a week in the office) + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance controls around budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Produce timely and technically accurate contract or site accounts, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, including variance analysis.
- Collaborate with operational teams, holding them accountable for their forecasts and budgets.
- Provide support to operational teams through analysis and insight.
- Manage and deliver any contractual financial information.
- Prepare and present quarterly revenue forecasts.
Essential Experience for the Finance Manager:
- Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS).
- Excellent communication skills, particularly at senior levels, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-finance managers and staff.
- Ability to provide valuable analytical information to support the business decision-making process.
