Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their fast-growing business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the financial health of the organisation by managing daily accounting tasks, assisting in the preparation of financial accounts and management accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a hybrid environment based in Knutsford, Cheshire.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our client's organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing all finance disciplines, preparing financial accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will also be responsible for producing divisional multi-currency management accounts, reviewing spending against budgets, and implementing process improvements. Your ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be key to your success in this role.

  • Oversee and complete processes in all finance disciplines for the USA entities and the UK subsidiary DCL to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
  • Ownership for month end and year end journals, processing and timetable including intercompany reconciliations.
  • Production of divisional multi-currency management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow.
  • Preparation of monthly finance pack with supporting commentary and analysis.
  • Review spending against budgets, identifying overspend and advising on corrective actions.
  • Support in weekly reporting for your divisions.
  • Proactively identify and implement process and reporting improvements across the department.
  • Liaise with external accountants/auditors at year-end to support with providing necessary information for completion of year-end accounts.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience from previous roles in finance or accounting. You are part qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or have strong QBE with SME experience. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, coupled with your experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 sets you apart. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team make you an ideal fit for this role.

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA part qualified OR strong QBE with SME experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
