Interim Finance Manager (min 3 months)

Raynes Park with hybrid working (3 days at home, 2 days in office) 

If you have an interest in learning & development and would like to join a small but successful team within a larger group organisation then this position could be for you.  We are looking for qualified Finance Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function on an interim basis while the business goes through a period of transition.  Reporting to the directors, you will need to be a hands-on manager and able to manage change.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • control of financial management accounting and reporting
  • analyse costs, sales results and company performance
  • oversee all payments, including payroll, pensions and expenses
  • preparation of monthly management accounts
  • filing of statutory accounts including year-end audit preparation
  • submit HMRC returns and VAT returns
  • manage the apprenticeships portal and monthly government returns

We are looking for a team player with an understanding of apprenticeship funding arrangements and previous experience of systems transition.  Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and good working knowledge of accounting systems will also be required.
