Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their Accountancy Team at their office in Redhill.

Description

Main duties:

  • General Ledger management including preparation of accruals, prepayments and monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and interrogation
  • Accounts Payable, invoice coding, entry and payments;
  • Cashbook journals and bank reconciliations;
  • Cashflow reconciliation and management;
  • Accounts Receivable and Credit Control;
  • Preparation of monthly payroll schedule for all base salary and commissions, and liaison with the payroll provider and subsequent journals;
  • Sales administration with preparation of quotations, invoices, purchase orders to clients and partners and chasing where necessary
  • Manage monthly payments to partners
  • Creation of key partner Purchase Orders and maintenance of overall PO database;
  • Processing of staff expenses
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT
  • Fixed Asset management and depreciation journals to General Ledger

Profile

The successful candidate:

  • Self-motivation, determination and confidence in your abilities
  • Experience of working in a finance function, having had some involvement in the areas outlined above, particularly bank reconciliation and preparation of management accounts
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable working style, keen to identify opportunities for improvements and personal growth
  • Excellent Excel and IT skills
