Your role in your new job
Working in a friendly and supportive team, this is a varied role with a good level of autonomy – you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the finance function overseeing 1 junior member of staff and there are plans to grow the team.
Specific duties include monthly management accounts production; budget preparation; cash flow management and reporting; overseeing the ledgers and payroll functions; and involvement with ad hoc projects and analysis.
Your experience and our requirements
A background in the Care sector is strongly desirable, and you must be fully established in a similar level finance role, ideally demonstrating examples of liaising with non-finance stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial information. You will be a competent Sage 50 user with strong Excel skills and staff management experience is desirable.
