A highly specialised humanitarian INGO is looking for a technically strong Finance Manager to join their capable London team in a broad role, covering an entire finance function with huge strategic scope. Having gone through a period of change, they are looking for someone with a lot of potential who can be extremely hands on initially, but help develop the finance function as the organisation grows and takes on more projects.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the full finance function; producing the management accounts and pulling together year end, preparing for audit, delivering budgets and working with the senior team within the organisation to help them run their departments. Timely and accurate reporting, cash-flow monitoring and seeing the organisation through its audit are all areas of focus, and the ideal candidate will be confident in their ability to prepare reports for audiences including trustees. With a mix of income from trusts, foundations, international grants and individual giving, the role will be strategic and work with fundraising on developing new areas of expansion.

We are looking for a confident accountant, ideally with experience working within the sector, who can join this organisation at a time offering a huge opportunity for the right person to really make an impact. Either a finalist or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) the successful candidate will have experience preparing management accounts and pulling together statutory accounts and will be able to demonstrate an ability to perform the responsibilities of the role.

If you are interested in this position, please apply early as we are continuously reviewing profiles and interviews will be arranged as soon as suitable candidates are identified and this position may be filled before the closing date.
