Jenson Fisher Consulting have been retained by a prosperous SME in Oban to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent, full time basis.
Based on site and reporting into the Committee, the Finance Manager forms a key part of the on-site Senior Management Team. This is a varied role which will incorporate a mix of management accounting, business support and commercial activities. The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that key reporting deadlines are met whilst also demonstrating a strong knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will work using their own autonomy and will be disciplined in their approach. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include;
- Production of monthly management accounts.
- Production of annual financial statements.
- Preparation of budgets.
- Preparing payroll using Sage Payroll.
- Management of Credit Control and Aged Debt.
- Prepare written reports on financial performance for committee meetings.
- Reconciliation of incomes.
- Implement new processes and procedures geared towards improving efficiencies.
The Finance Manager role is aimed at either a professionally Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or someone who considers themselves Qualified by Experience.
