Surrey/South West London based residential housing management company, is currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The organisation has a number of sites so a background in a similar multi site business, regardless of sector, would be useful. The position has arisen following a period of growth so there is plenty of opportunity to develop within this role specifically. Some general people management skills and a keen awareness of end to end timely and accurate financial and management accounting is essential.
Key elements of the role include; preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting performance analysis, reconciliation and review relating to the production of financial statements, full ownership and leadership of the statutory financial reporting process for a number of entities and in line with UK GAAP. Effective man management and leadership of a team of six finance staff, production and collaboration around the budget and forecast process, ownership of financial elements of all external contracts, maintenance and development of financial policies and procedures.
You will be fully qualified, with relevant experience, advanced Excel skills and excellent understanding of finance systems and software. Drive and energy and an ability to lead and deliver in a collaborative manner are essential.
