Finance Manager

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a School Finance Manager based at a school in the South Birmingham as possible.

Do you have a strong finance experience

Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Oversee and assist in the development and implementation of financial procedures and oversee financial transactions/activity within the school
*Creating purchase orders and sending order to suppliers, and being responsible for incoming goods, performing checks against orders
*Management and reconciliation of petty cash, recording all transactions on the finance system and when required collecting money from pupils and parents
*Processing purchase invoices and posting onto the finance system
*Processing monthly invoices to schools along with money collection
*Chase outstanding debts
*Completing the twice weekly BACS payments run
*Posting of payments onto finance system along with the reconciliation of the bank statements on a weekly basis
*Assist in monitoring all school budgets and accounts throughout the year, ensuring that all budget records are maintained and up to date
*Assist in the organisation of school activities and events as required.

You must:
*Be of smart appearance,
*Able to use your own initiative,
*Able to work to a high standard
*Have finance experience

If you do not hold a current DBS and haven't subscribed to the online service, you will need to complete a new DBS through Monarch Education.
