A really exciting tech startup who provide novel services and online consultations for consumers. The Company started 2015, steadily growing since then and has highly ambitious plans for the next few years to provide national coverage.
It is a small central team based in Central London, based really close to major transport hubs. The team have lots of good energy and drive to progress the company. This role will initially be temp-perm basis, which if the candidate is successful will to move onto a permanent position within 6 months.
·Manage all day to day functions of the finance department including purchase and sales ledger
·Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly management accounts
·Responsible for all journals and final nominal balances including review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
·Development of the MI, variance analysis and KPI packs
·Preparation of fortnightly commission payments
·Responsible for cashflow management
·Preparation of VAT returns and ensuring that all legal and statutory obligations are met
·Newly Qualified Accountant or about to become Qualified Accountant
·Experience in a start up or small business highly desirable
·Able to demonstrate a minimum of 1 year experience in similar role
·Strong IT and communication skills: Good with Excel and willingness to take charge.
