Finance Manager

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Finance Manager.

The company:- An exciting International business which was established over 40 years ago and is managed and driven by the founding directors. The company employ over 100 employees, they are the leading name in their field and the 'No 1 company to go to' for their products.

The role: Reports to the finance director and will take early responsibility for the day to day operations in finance. Acting as the financial controller this role encompasses a broad range of accounting skills including the preparation the management accounts pack, forecasts and budget process, balance sheet reconciliation, year end accounting, PAYE and payroll.
Managing the treasury function, UK and International VAT returns experience useful. Providing detailed analysis to assist with the business decision making process and implementing best practice controls to ensure a smooth flow of information is achieved.
This role has 2 direct reports and you will be expected to mentor and motivate this team to achieve their goals and targets.

The person:- a qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with at least 2 years previous accounting experience.
Perhaps from an accountancy practice background - or from an international company with a media, Internet, IT, retail background would be useful. Language skills useful but not essential, energy and drive to achieve results with strong IT skills, an eye for detail, a confident communicator comfortable getting involved and driving a strong control environment in a growing highly profitable international IT business.
