Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a small/medium sized business who also part of a larger group and are based in Doncaster. The company are at the start of an exciting phase of their development and are growing rapidly.
This job has key responsibility for financial control and day to day running of the finance department for this £15-20m turnover business
Preparing monthly management accounts for 2 companies including full commentary and individual branches
Reconciling cash across the stores
Managing cash flow including production of rolling cash flow forecast
Management of the ledgers; sales, purchase, cashbook, fixed asset register etc.
Maintenance of stock system
Quarterly VAT returns and monthly Intrastat reporting
Calculation of inter-company transactions
Production of annual budget and periodic forecasts
Preparation of statutory accounts and managing the audit process
Review and implement systems and procedures within the business to ensure timely and accurate financial information
Managing and developing 3 accounts staff
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant with previous experience of working in a small/medium sized business. You will need a proactive approach and need to support and advise the Senior Directors of the business with all financial matters. You must also have a strong commercial awareness to make financial business decisions.
