Finance Manager

Nelson Chambers are delighted to be recruiting for an established Finance Manager on behalf of our Client, a multi-disciplinary, Legal 500 firm in Essex.

You will be responsible for leading a team and maintaining the smooth running of the Accounts function.

Please note this is a maternity contract initially.

Reporting into the Partners, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Cash flow variance and forecasts
  • Preparing budgets
  • Producing reports
  • Managing Client accounts
  • Overseeing management accounts
  • VAT
  • Managing credit control
  • Managing payroll (outsourced)
  • Training and monitoring and providing support to the existing Accounts team
  • Maintaining the firms finance systems
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance standards are met
  • Acting as a reference point for Partners

Person Specification:

  • Experience within the Legal industry in a similar role ideal
  • ACA | ACCA | CIMA qualified desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team leader

Details:

  • Monday-Friday (9AM-5.30PM)
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Salary £neg based on experience and qualifications
