Orka Financial is currently working with a services business based in Bracknell who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to cover a maternity leave of 12 months.
If successful, your key responsibilities will be the production of the monthly reporting pack, including variance analysis and reviewing the work of two assistant accountants. You will also be responsible for the preparation and the filing of the statutory returns, dealing with any queries from the auditors and being their main point of contact within the business. Corporation Tax and VAT returns will also fall to you, although more by you supporting the accounting team in their preparation of them. Ideally you will have recent knowledge of IFRS and be up to date with the latest developments around legislative changes.
In order to be considered for this role you must be either immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice, have good experience of managing small teams and be comfortable taking guidance from more senior members of a finance team. This role will provide plenty of exposure to the FD and the CFO of the business.
Our client have on site parking and standard working hours of 9am - 5:30pm with the potential of working from home on occasion.
