Finance Manager - Slough - £55,000-£63,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting a Finance Manager (Management Accounts and Business Partnering) for a £70million t/o Multinational UK based Hi-tech Company. Our client offers a fast-paced, fun place to work where the values of the company are lived every day.

The Role:

  • The Finance Manager will manage a team of 4, with one direct report, being the Commercial Accountant.

  • Reporting to the Financial Controller alongside the Finance Manager - Corporate, the Finance Manager will supervise and co-ordinate the financial management and production of sound financial information by the Commercial team. This includes the production of monthly management accounts and consolidated P&L, and business partnering with key individuals across the business.

  • You will work with the Financial Controller in the production of monthly and ad hoc reporting, including monthly Board papers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the production and review of departmental P&Ls incorporating the processing of monthly provisions (accruals, prepayments deferred and accrued income);

  • Working with the Investment Controller to ensure the accurate inclusion of monthly reporting of Investment activity;

  • Managing procedures which result in monthly management accounts output;

  • Preparation of the monthly consolidated P&L and the production of key elements of the monthly Board papers, including KPIs;

  • Liaise with the Corporate Finance team on the production of monthly Board papers;

  • Year-end procedures, including preparation of intra-group, recharges and intra-group interest calculations, and P&L analytics which assist with statutory income statement presentation;

  • Assistance with the annual budget process as required;

  • Providing support and analysis to the business as required, including providing schedules and reports and attending meetings enabling departmental heads to manage their area of responsibility;

  • Production of timely, accurate and relevant business information to include supporting key revenue generating business areas with analysis enabling measurement of departmental margin analysis and KPIs;

  • Working with heads of department and other key individuals across the business to identify process efficiencies and effect change.

Key Skills/Competencies: Qualified CIMA, ACA, and ACCA with at least 2 years PQE in a Management Accounting and business partnering role. Experience of managing a team of 3+ with the ability to keep to tight deadlines.
