Finance Manager/Head of Finance

Think Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be working exclusively with a client based in the St Albans area in the recruitment of a Head of Finance. If you have a background in the construction industry, then please do get in touch.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Accountant with at least 2 years PQE and will have worked in a Finance Manager/Financial Controller position. Although the team is fairly small now, the company are growing and therefore the team should also grow in time.

Main duties will include:

• Monthly Management Accounts
• Year end reporting
• Cash Flow management
• Process improvement around reporting and financial controls
• Day to day financial operations overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Payroll
• Provide the director with financial information and putting together Board Packs
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Management of a small team
