My client a successful building contractors firm, are looking to recruit a Finance Manager/Accounts Manager to join their busy team.

GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF SAGE AND EXCEL IS ESSENTIAL

PREVIOUS ACCOUNTS EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY HIGHLY DESIRABLE

Duties to include but not limited to:

* Updating, monitoring and reporting to MD on all project costing

* Processing all sub-contractor invoices against their contracts, checking, logging, tracking and monitoring

* Manually calculate, process and raise sub-contractor payments on a weekly basis

*Monitoring and chasing the release of client retention monies

* Responding to all sub-contractor queries

* Processing and paying self-employed sub-contractor timesheets

* All aspects of banking, paying in at branch, setting up standing orders, performance bonds, all queries and communications

* Authorising credit card payments

* Respond/Action all HMRC enquiries and correspondence

* Assisting and overlooking all financial legal cases

* Completing CITB levy and submitting grant claims

* Dealing with all aspects of post, data entry and employee expenses in the absence of colleagues

* Assisting and carrying out other accounts related duties as required to aid the MD and all other management

Other duties, such as the below, may be required and as such experience is preferable but not essential

* Quarterly VAT Returns

* Monthly CIS Returns

* All Bank Reconciliations, current account, credit card & petty cash
