PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provide a comprehensive financial and administrative service. Provide support and training to the contract support team. Support Business Unit F&CSM with month end and financial reporting.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Understand, anticipate and deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships.
2 Positively respond to both our internal and external customers through effective communication and personal accessibility, while optimising contract performance.
3 Understand procedures and processes and operate them to the required standard encouraging best practice. Able to understand and influence the Contract/Area profit report. Provide knowledge and understanding to coach and support others with less experience.
a) Performing/Monitoring Dynamics Processes such as raising Purchase Orders, Billing, Posting Invoices, invoice registration etc
b) Maintaining and controlling contract KPI spreadsheet & analysis and overall BU KPIs (WIP/DEBT/OPO)
c) Creating proper process paperwork and documentations, governing this across the business unit
d) Ensuring that housekeeping in dynamics is kept to high standards through contract support
e) Ensuring and driving uniformed contract information across business unit
f) Balance Sheet Reconciliations
g) Performing month end and adhoc process i.e. dimensional mismatch, overheads, WIP, JBIMR, Contract P&L reports
h) Maintain business unit Sector reporting and structure
i) Weekly MMT reviews and issued to AD, AGM, F&CSM & BUD
j) Profitability Reports and Analysis at various levels - Contracts/Sectors/Portfolio

8 Organise and carry out monthly Contract Support Meeting as agreed with F&CSM
9 Project accounting working and supporting the Projects team i.e. Projects Co-Ordinator
10 Ad hoc Business Unit work/activities
Part Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA
[Desirable] Newly Qualified Accountant
Good PC based skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook - intermediate to advance level.
PowerPoint and Access.
3 years experience in a similar role with managerial experience.
Previous experience of a customer-facing role using operating systems such as Dynamics AX or Concept software
Some financial / accounting experience would be an advantage.
Must demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus.
Excellent verbal, and good basic standard of written, communication skills. Self-motivated and systematic.
