This is an exciting opportunity to join a £50m UK subsidiary of a much larger US Parent, which is in the process of transforming its business services group from an international to a truly global bran, which aims to develop and support its people in every way possible.
The position has several opportunities for progression in the future and would suit a new style FD, who can partner and challenge the business, head up its financial side, and handle the significant UK systems upgrade to SAP Cloud, as things move forward.
With an established and successful finance department in place, the FD will help nurture the next generation's talent, as well as work with the CEO in making any necessary key appointments. With the business holding about 20% of the UK market, there is plenty of scope for gaining further market share, and the business is ready to make further acquisitions to help that process along.
As Ambassador and Champion of the Finance Department to the US, this role will form part of the senior Executive Team which works closely with the CEO to engender change, increased market share and improvements in systems and profitability. Communication is at the heart of this role given the number of different stakeholders, and the industry the client works in.
A comprehensive package would be offered on top of basic salary, including car allowance, contributory pension, bonus and family benefits.
Candidates, who should be current ACA, ACCA or CIMA members or equivalent, should live within a one hour commute of the Coventry base, which would be the main place of work.
