Your new job

As Finance Director you shall work closely with the senior management team and introduce financial controls into the business. Supported by an assistant accountant you shall look to implement monthly accounting schedules and maintain the cash-flow and forecasting. Streamlining the processes and implementing change where appropriate you shall also be the lead on finance strategy and support the owners in future growth plans. As Finance Director you shall also drive for consistency and provide orations with board pack detail to help manage risk, cost and highlight areas where improvements can be made. Remaining hands-on you shall also take ownership over a number of finance projects and be part of the board meetings to represent finance and the financial position of the business. A newly established role you shall be the first Finance Director in post and provide value add in a number of ways. From stock control, system alignment and process change you shall have the opportunity to build the finance team and influence future plans to drive profits through financial reporting and business strategy. 

Your Experience & Our Requirements 

You shall be a qualified accountant, (ACA ACCA or CIMA). With experience within the manufacturing sector you shall have a proven track record of working in high growth SME businesses and also have the ability to implement change and process in to a similar business. With particular strengths on cost control and monitoring cash flow you shall also have skills to develop reporting and implement monthly accounting process to drive performance in many areas of a manufacturing arena. A strong business partner you shall also have experience working closely with senior managers and be prepared to support a business with detailed reporting.
