I'm exclusively recruiting for the No.1 Finance role at an ambitious SME precision engineering business who want a strong partner to the MD.
As well as the day to day leading the finance function there's heavy involvement in the commercial decisions, interpreting the financials, systems development / process improvement and ad hoc projects. Already they have long-term key clients on their order books and are primed for growth having put in serious investment into machinery & staffing.
Definitely NOT a corporate environment with layers and layers of management so being hands on and having a flexible approach to getting things done is key. Looking for an experienced Finance Controller who is just as happy being on the shop floor as constructively challenging the MD (when required) to drive the business forward.
