Harmonic are proud to be working with a hypergrowth real estate asset management company in supplying a Finance Controller.

The business has a global presence and currently manage over £1 Billion in real estate assets across the USA, EMEA region and Australia. As the successful candidate you will join a business preforming well above the market rate and a team invested in the long-term growth of the portfolio. A conservative estimate puts the asset value in the next 5 years over £3.5 million pounds.

The role:

Reporting to the Finance Director you will assist in bringing rigour and structure to the finance function. Your role will cover a mixture of Real Estate commercial accounting (analysing new leases with management, helping to build new financial models to assess feasibility), alongside ensuring that internal P&L reporting and day-to-day financial management are in order.

Duties:

  • (Supported by a Management Accountant) own the creation of the P&L
  • Liaise with the Business Development team to develop sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Develop a financial Reporting Pack for review at Board level.
  • Monitoring tax returns and liaising with Auditors
  • Work closely with Asset management team for forecasts and refinancing
  • Cross border tax analysis
  • Assist in reporting to investors and major banks
  • Responsibilities in training and upskilling team of 5

What we need to see (Essential)

  • Xero
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience of working as a Financial Controller / Head of Finance within a corporate finance function

What we'd like to see (Bonus)

  • Experience of retail and/or the commercial real estate.

Salary £75-£85k plus discretionary bonus
