My client is seeking a friendly and highly organised Finance Assistant to join their busy Finance Team. The role can be Part-Time or Full Time, depending on the individual’s needs.

The main purpose of the role will be assisting with general finance duties, general administration and will report to the Finance Manager.

The role will suite a highly organised Administrative professional, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and strong Excel skills.

ROLE:

  • Processing purchase ledger transactions, including supplier set up, and following up approval processes to ensure timely payments
  • Tracking down and uploading direct debits to accounting systems
  • Processing online orders
  • Processing of staff expenses for payment
  • Filing of financial documents
  • Opening, sorting and distribution of incoming emails/mail
  • Management of stationery supplies including orders

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Maths and English GCSE
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Self-motivated and versatile
  • Highly professional with positive outlook
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks as required

HOURS:

  • Working across 4/5 days per week.
  • Term Time: 28 hours per week part time.
  • Non term time: 14 hours per week.
  • Full time hours available as well.
