This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a fast paced finance function with various responsibilities.
Based close to Stockport, the role will involve:
Maintaining the Petty Cashbook.
Maintaining the Sterling Cashbook and credit card receipts, posting sales ledger and nominal receipts daily.
Reviewing the Cashbook regularly and arranging tax invoices where appropriate.
Processing company credit card expenditure.
Reviewing and processing cash expenditure.
Reviewing and posting the mobile phone journal.
Preparing and posting the Bank Reconciliation and other balance sheet reconciliations.
Completing and issuing the credit breakdown report.
Completing returns for the National Statistic Office.
Providing cover fort the part time and full time Finance Assistants which may include preparation of payroll.
You should have previous experience of working in a Finance role, good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.
Great working environment, with canteen facilities, free parking. Working hours Monday to Friday 9-5.
