About the opportunity
Working as part of our friendly finance team you'll support the smooth running of the purchase and sales ledgers. You'll ensure that purchase invoices are processed and paid in accordance to payment terms and sales invoices are raised and cash collected. In this varied role you'll process supplier invoices and employee expenses. You'll set up new suppliers and customers, support the business with the creation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and good receipt notes, ensuring that all invoices have a receipted purchase order. You'll have the opportunity to build effective relationships on the phone and via email with customers, suppliers and face to face with people at Pukka.
Based in our new office in Keynsham this is a permanent full-time role. We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 to £20,000 per annum, depending on your experience and skills, alongside a benefits package that is designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.
You'll have demonstrable experience working within a Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger function and have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above. Comfortable using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. You'll have great numeracy skills and written skills, and have high level of attention to detail and a passion for accuracy. Confident communication skills are needed as you will be speaking with suppliers and customers.
You'll understand the importance of working to deadlines, and have experience and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively. You will be committed to your own continuous personal development, be a team player and enjoy problem solving. You'll be able to deal with and adapt to change, and enjoy working in an environment that is fast-paced.
