Finance Assistant

The Clerical Finance Division at SF Group have been appointed to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant on the behalf of a superb organisation based in Leicester. This is a temporary Finance Assistant assignment for 6 months. The purpose of the role is to assist with purchase ledger, sales ledger and general ledger duties across the finance functions.

Finance duties include but not limited to:

  • Processing invoices accurately in a timely manner
  • Matching, batching and coding of supplier invoices
  • Processing payments
  • Processing staff allowances and expenses
  • Raising debtor invoices
  • Preparing income for banking
  • Liaising with external suppliers, customers, staff members and other stakeholders

As the Finance Assistant, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • 1 year plus purchase ledger and sales ledger experience
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Experience of organising own work load
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of working in a busy and fast pace environment
