Finance Assistant

Our client are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Cheltenham. This is a great opportunity for someone with minimal Finance experience to gain working knowledge of Finance systems and processes within a globally recognised organisation.

You will be supporting the team with compliance, policies, data maintenance and the support / implementation of initiatives. The role would be suitable for a recent business graduate or someone who has some all-round experience in Finance. Ideally you will have some knowledge or working experience of ledger reconciliations and accounting policies.

As the role develops you will be encouraged to become customer focused and to develop your analytical skills and understanding the importance of supporting financial systems.

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of Excel, and will be generally IT literate. Strong communication skills are a must and someone that enjoys working as part of a team.
