Your new company
A fast growing SME in the construction industry, is seeking a Finance Assistant to work alongside the Financial Controller. Established in 2005, with a £25m turnover the organisation has gone from strength to strength in recent years. They are currently working on a number of high end developments and have previously been involved in One Hyde Park.
Your new role
Working closely with a CIMA Qualified Financial Controller, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day processing. This includes, but is not limited to: processing 800 purchase invoices per month, allocating projects costs to the correct budget, processing expenses, credit card, bank and supplier reconciliation, and payment runs. You will also get involved in month end close, monthly payroll for 20 people, VAT and CIS returns.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 2 years of practical experience in an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role (AP, AR, bank reconciliation). You will have recent working knowledge of Sage 50. Experience in the construction industry is preferable but not essential.
What you'll get in return
You'll receive an annual salary of between £25-29k plus study support (AAT, ACCA, CIMA), 20 days annual leave and a discretionary bonus. Hours are 8am-5pm and there is parking on site.
