A well-regarded local school based in Slough requires a finance assistant to provide temporary cover within their accounts function.
Your new role
You will have a broad range of duties ranging from accounts payable, payment runs, bank reconciliations, goods receipting and ledger updates. You will be a core member of the school administration function and will work on the school's finance system FMS.
What you'll need to succeed
Good all-round accounts experience including accounts payable ideally gained from a school environment. Experience of FMS would be a great advantage. You will also need to go through the appropriate vetting process should you be successful including a full DBS check.
