We are seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join our growing team on a full time basis.
The key responsibilities of the role will be:
- Processing daily transactions
- Producing financial reports
- Sales ledger maintenance
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with stock analysis and forecasting
- Ad hoc management information and reporting
- Assisting with day-to-day functions of the Finance Team
In addition to the core elements of the role, there will be opportunity for involvement in other areas of the wider finance function and so this role would suit a candidate who is keen to gain wider experience and skills.
You will report to our Finance Director and will receive full training and support in all elements of the role. However, you will be encouraged to take on responsibility from the outset.
It is essential that you are proactive, can use initiative and can communicate effectively, both internally and externally.
Some experience of working within a financial environment is desirable and you should already have good knowledge of key accounting principles. Some experience using Sage accounting software is desirable but not a requirement.
A high level of competence using Excel is essential, together with good IT literacy in general.
This role could be well suited to a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their finance career.
Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience.
