Mon - Fri, 36 hours a week, with an early finish on Fridays. Onsite parking available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading company based in Melksham as a Finance Assistant.

Main Responsibilities

Purchase ledger entries
Extract daily bank statements
Raising manual cheques
Reconciliation and management of the petty cash tin and in-house currency pool
Raising manual sales invoices in
Daily sales reporting and attendance at a daily review meeting
accruals Posting journal vouchers
Reconciliation of the mobile phone & travel spend and process costs into the financial system
Assist in delivering the audit & statutory reporting requirements
Reconciliation of professional fees for annual reporting to tax partner

Experienced Required

Essential
·Strong Excel, IT Proactive (Word, Excel)

Desirable

·Experience with Sage X3 or other Sage packages
Good understanding of accounting theory.
