Finance Assistant

Mon - Fri, 36 hours a week, with an early finish on Fridays. Onsite parking available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading company based in Melksham as a Finance Assistant.

Main Responsibilities

  • Purchase ledger entries
  • Extract daily bank statements
  • Raising manual cheques
  • Reconciliation and management of the petty cash tin and in-house currency pool
  • Raising manual sales invoices in
  • Daily sales reporting and attendance at a daily review meeting
  • Prepayments and accurals
  • Posting journal vouchers
  • Reconciliation of the mobile phone & travel spend and process costs into the financial system
  • Assist in delivering the audit & statutory reporting requirements
  • Reconciliation of professional fees for annual reporting to tax partner
  • Experienced Required

Essential

·Strong Excel, IT Proactive (Word, Excel)

Desirable

·Experience with Sage X3 or other Sage packages

Good understanding of accounting theory.
