Finance Assistant - Truro - £18-20,000
Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a long established, Truro based manufacturer of specialist goods to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. This is a varied role working as part of a very friendly accounts team.
Key duties to include, but not limited to:
Purchase Ledger: Coding and posting, order processing and invoice authorisations. Matching and checking purchase orders against supplier invoices, raising credit notes and setting up new supplier accounts.
Banking: Preparation of invoices for payment, preparing aged accounts payable reports, raising remittance advice and posting payments. Prepare and process batch single and multiple payments, petty cash maintenance and reconciliations. Maintain direct debit payments and hire purchase agreements.
Month end reporting: Assisting the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts, monthly nominal analysis, bad-debt provisioning, sales and purchase ledger adjustments. Posting journals to trial balance.
Payroll: Compiling of employee monthly summary and assisting Finance Manager with monthly payroll.
