Finance Assistant - Study Support

Accountable Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant for a SME based near Crewe. Reporting into the Financial Controller this is a hands on role, working with high volumes, looking for someone to gain more experience if they are a recent graduate or continue with their Career progression in a great down to earth team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Purchase reconciliations
  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes- high volumes
  • Obtain the appropriate signatures from the Business unit departments
  • Maintain appropriate filing system for the Purchase ledger invoices.
  • Assist with processing of cheque payments with regard to customer refunds and creditors invoices
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Ad hoc duties when required
  • Following up any queries regarding Purchase Ledge and resolving them.

Desirable Skills, not essential but ideal:

  • Recent Graduate (not essentiall but will improve chances)
  • 1 years work experience in a similar role, (not essential)
  • Open to moving on to a training graduate scheme to become a Qualified Accountant
