Finance Assistant - Part Time

Reed Accountancy Colchester are delighted to be working exclusively with a large employer of choice based in Colchester in recruiting a Part Time Finance Assistant. This is a temporary job to cover maternity leave for 9 to 12 months.

Applicants MUST have experience in Accounts and be Available Immediately.

As a core member of the team you will be required to;

• Processing the monthly payroll
• Preparing the year end payroll and pension returns
• Sales ledger: raising invoices
• Assisting with the month end accounts, including accruals
• Purchase ledger: batching, coding and inputting invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasts and monitoring against budgets
• Maintaining and reconciling the petty cash on Excel

The Ideal candidate will have;

• a detailed understanding of Payroll and Accounts
• be self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable
• a good team player
• able to organise and manage their own workload
• able to remain calm under pressure
• a good communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information

• 25 hours a week (Mon-Fri)
• Free onsite parking
