More than just a Finance Assistant
Salary:circa £19,000 per annum (dependent upon experience & qualification)
Hallidays Ethical Resourcing Team is supporting with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to work with a Manufacturing Team in Middleton. The Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Director and will have responsibility for; Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and Payroll.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, who has excellent attention to detail and can communicate well in person, over the phone and in their written work. You must be a team player and be ready to contribute.
Qualifications & Experience
You will have previously worked in an accounts function and may be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT). Knowledge of accounts payable and/or credit control is desirable as is previous experience in the manufacturing sector although this is not essential.
System or Knowledge
You must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel. Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of MRP systems, but again this is not essential.
