Finance and Operations Manager

Finance & Operations Manager - This North London based charity / not-for-profit organisation is looking for an Finance & Operations Manager to join its management team. The responsibilities are varied and you will play a vital role in contributing to the development of the organisation, including setting and managing budgets, preparing management accounts, negotiating and managing contracts, and various aspects of risk management. Key duties include:

  • Managing a small finance and administration team, and reporting on all financial matters to the Board
  • Setting and managing the annual budgets
  • Preparing quarterly management accounts
  • Reviewing and monitoring the organisation's financial policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and monitoring all office administrative procedures
  • Negotiating and managing all facilities management contracts
  • Managing all costs to efficient levels, and negotiating and managing all supplier contracts
  • Liaising with external auditors in relation to statutory accounts
  • Managing and tracking all staff holidays, sick leave and other absences

The role will suit an accountant, (Qualified or QBE) who can ideally demonstrate both finance and operations experience with strong leadership skills and the ability to produce management accounts. Strong IT, communication and man management skills are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse charity with a very friendly working environment.
