Finance and HR Administrative Assistant

Future Personnel are offering an opportunity for a committed professional looking to work for an outstanding school. This position will suit someone who has experience in both finance and HR who can bring a can do positive attitude along with them. This role is a contract role so you must be able to commit for a 12 month period. Duties to include;


  • Register Invoices/ invoice queries
  • Input new supplier details accurately
  • Deal with all petty cash
  • Deal with all internal and external queries
  • Obtaining and maintaining filing system
  • Assisting finance officer with audit requirements
  • Raise and send purchases orders
  • Collect money from students for uniform, trips or any other payment


  • Assist HR officer with required HR processes
  • Organise vetting appointments with new employees
  • Check Id and right to work documents
  • Apply DBS checks and references
  • Maintain personnel files making sure they are kept up to date and accurate
  • Assist with general enquires

For this role you will be required to have;

  • Educated to A level equivalent
  • Knowledge of school finance system
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a finance department
  • It literate
  • Highly organised with good attention for detail
  • Work to strict dead lines
